So I made it home late on Friday. (well, early Saturday, actually).
Dazzle collected me at the airport and drove back to the ranch. It was really cold and frosty with black ice everywhere, so the journey took some time. When we got back to the ranch Dazzle insisted, that though I may be tired, I should help her check on all the goats. Of course this was just her ploy, as she had neglected to tell me about the new arrivals. Five new kids. A pair and a single of angora / milk goat cross and a pair of pure bred black angoras. One of the angora kids was a lot smaller than the other and unfortunately didn’t make it past a couple of days, but the other is a lot stronger and seems to be doing fine. The angora / milk crosses are fat and sassy and bouncing around all over the place.
