It was a momentous day for ‘Alba Ranch’ on the 3rd January. Not only did the morning reveal our first fresh eggs, (which we promptly made into sandwiches and ate!)
but in the evening, as we were returning from town we saw three mule deer running down our driveway and across the road. We have seen lots of evidence, and seen deer close to our land, but this was the first time that we had actually seen anything bigger than a rabbit on our land.
