At 3:30am this morning the ship left the Lobito Tomboco field having finished it’s work-scope there 😆 We are presently on our way to Takoradi, Ghana, a journey that is expected to take us 3 1/2 -4 days. By my calculations that puts us in port there between 3pm on thursday afternoon and 3 am Friday morning. As I will be getting off the ship there, the only thing that I’m waiting for now is confirmation of my flights back to the UK. I should get that later today with any luck. I’m guessing at the moment that it’s most likely to be the BA flight from Accra to London Heathrow, and that it will be on Friday night (anything earlier than that is a bonus!) If that is the case, I should get back to Aberdeen sometime Saturday morning.
