Well, I’ve been off the ship for almost two weeks now and yet again I’ve been a little lax with my updates… well.. I’ve been busy! Our chickens, who just started to lay before I left for last trip, have continued to be busy too, although we have noticed that the Araucanas seem to be more productive than the Cochins. Admittedly there are more than twice as many Araucanas as Cochins, but they are two-three months younger. Our record to date is 6 Araucana and 4 Cochin eggs in one day. It wasn’t on the same day though, that we found this Aracauna egg… I’m no expert.. but that HAD to hurt 😯
