Although I haven’t been posting on the subject, I haven’t been ignoring this years F1 championship. After this weekends Japanese GP there are only two races left in what has been one of the closest (and intrigue packed) seasons in a long time. Lewis Hamilton, the young British driver, in his first season could well be, not only the youngest ever champion, but the first driver every to win the championship in their debut season. In fifteen races so far this season, he has scored points in 14 of them, 12 of which have been podium finishes and 4 of those, victories. Better statistics than some drives have had in their entire careers, never mind debut season! He heads towards the last two races, 12 points clear of his team-mate and closest rival, knowing that any finish that is not more than one place behind his rival in either race will be enough to clinch the crown
