We’re now into May, can you believe it, a third of the year gone already ❓ I certainly can’t. Finding myself reflecting on what I’ve achieved so far this year. I have a big list of things that I wanted to get done in our “new” house, and I’ve managed precious little of that list so far. Still, I should get a few things done on my next leave. Yes, it’s time to start the downward count of days ❗ My trip offshore has reached the crest of the hill and it should be downward counting from now on. There is a certain feeling, that is very hard to describe to someone who hasn’t experienced it, that you get when you realise that you have done more days than you have left to do. On that front, the “Perseus” is still bobbing around in bad weather waiting for the swell to die down enough to get started on the current riser replacement project at the Visund platform. Perhaps the weather will change with the page of the calender ❓ There are still things to keep us busy, but it would be nice if well could get atleast some of the damaged risers replaced before the end of our trip ❗ Maybe tomorrow, will be a bit less of a groundhog day
