So I’m now ‘back on the ranch’, for a short while anyway. When I arrived I found how busy (and secretive) Dazzle had been. I was standing at the airport entrance waiting for Dazzle to pick me up when I saw a white Land Rover Discovery coming in the entrance and it was just crossing my mind how cool it would be to have one of them when I realised that it was Dazzle behind the wheel!
When we got up to the ranch I found that, even then, I had only been privy to half of the goings on, as there, instead of the white Suburban was a white Suburban. Only instead of the ’88 one it had somehow mutated into a ’97 one with a 4″ lift kit and huge wheels!
Other things on the ranch, well, the culvert has been put in which we thought would pacify the home owners association, but no, we’re still getting letters from them on subjects that we felt had already been closed. The driveway has been sorted out, and the livestock trailer have been parked up on the house site as this week we’re expecting the well-drillers in. Dazzle picked up a couple more goats that she had bought, and she’s been looking around at Llamas.
