ArtPrize is a big art competition in Grand Rapids, MI every year. For 2011, both Dazzle and I have been accepted as entrants.
Many locations within the city, stores, bars restaurants and buildings, host artists for display and Dazzle and I have both secured the same Venue, the Waters Building, along with around 25 other artists.
For my entry I am creating a four panel painting called “A Year in a Day” The four panels are independent paintings that form a single panoramic image showing a scene at different times of the day and year. I will make more posts as I progress with the paintings.
