Well, I did make it home. I had gone to the airport early to see if I could get on an earlier flight than the ones I had been booked on. All to no avail.. even lurking around the departure gate in case of a last minute cancellation failed to get me on anything other than the flights I was actually booked! I thought that the journey had been uneventful until I tried to switch on my notebook computer today.. It is still working but the display has been damaged with two big black circles in the middle of the screen. Well, it is insured, so I guess we’ll find out just how good our insurance is! Oh.. there is one other piece of news from here, but that is going to have to wait till the NEXT blog entry 😀
