After my last trip offshore, Melisa picked me up at the Airport. It was, as usual, a late flight, getting into Grand Rapids at 11:30pm. Melisa had waited in the ‘cell-phone’ parking lot while I collected my bag, and as soon as I got it, I sent her a text and headed out to the curb. When she pulled up, I dumped my bags in the back of the Land Rover and then jumped into the passenger seat. Melisa told me to get my seat-belt on quickly and as soon as it clicked, she leaned over and dropped this wriggly, furry bundle into my lap. I held the squirmy bundle up to look at it and it promptly started to lick my face and then pee on me. I couldn’t decide is she were overcome with excitement, or marking her territory!

‘Meet Morag’ Melisa said, laughing as I told her that I had just been peed on. Melisa then reminded me that the first time we took Cinnamon for a car ride, Cinnamon had puked on me.. twice.
As I told you in a previous post, Melisa had been looking for a new pup to fill the void left by the loss of Abbey and Morag was the one.
Morag is a wee sweetie. The older dogs are not quite convinced yet, but Rick loves his new little sister.
