There’s one in every bunch! Here are the doe kids, – On the ground; Fiasco, closest, with Cora and Camille behind, and Sprogg on top. Not that she is supposed to be there, but she is the youngest and a bit on the wild side.
we have been doing a lot of work in the woods near the Fire-Pit, so we had a fire to burn some of the brush.
Down in the Willow beds things have gone a little crazy. That’s me in amongst the aptly named ‘Red Rocket’ Willow. A few months ago we trimmed these and cut them down to less than 24″. Now they are over 10 fee t tall. We may have to trim this variety in Fall as well as Spring.

When i was working in the lavender field I realized that I had a hitch-hiker on my pant leg. Mantis’ joined fireflies, stick insects, opossums, and raccoons as creatures I had never seen in the “wild” until we bought this property.
I my last post i mentioned that Melisa’s rekindled interest in flutes had got me into the workshop. Well here is my first flute finished. Native American Style five hole pentatonic flute in G minor… carefully resting on my new journal, also mentioned previously!
